Akinwumi Adesina, make list as Daily Times unveils centenary heroes awards winners
Daily Times Nigeria has announced the winners across 29 categories for its centenary Heroes Awards.
These awards are a key initiative celebrating the 100th anniversary of Daily Times Nigeria. They were established to honor individuals, institutions, and organizations that have contributed to the nation's political, economic, social, and corporate development through leadership, innovation, and service.
In commemoration of its centenary, Daily Times Nigeria (DTN) has unveiled the primary winners of the 'Heroes Awards' across 29 categories, chosen through public voting to recognize those who have driven national development. This year's honorees include Aliko Dangote (Business Icon of the Century), Jim Ovia (Change Agent of the Century), and Akinwumi Adesina (Global Impact Award), alongside distinguished politicians, public agencies, and leading corporations. Voting for certain categories, such as Financial Innovation, National Development, and Sustainability, will remain open until August 5. The final awards ceremony will be held in Abuja on September 3, where the winners will be officially enshrined in the 'Nigerian Book of Life'.
